Know Your Skin
Age is not the only barometer of your skin's needs. Whatever age and condition, each persons skin has requirements of it own. Take time to consider your skin type. First cleanse and then tone (see how below). Also account for your lifestyle (outdoors? indoors?). Knowing this will enable you to find skin care that will really benefit you.

Cleanse
The most important step to understanding your skin is to have a good cleansing regime. To remove make-up and a build-up of grime CLEANSING LOTION should be applied to an ORGANIC COTTON PAD and gently wiped along the face and neck. To lift heavy eye make-up apply a small amount of WELEDA ALMOND FACIAL OIL to a damp cotton pad and wipe along tightly-closed eyes.
Fill basin with warm water. To help cleanse and calm skin add a drop of ORGANIC LAVENDER OIL. Immerse an ORGANIC COTTON MUSLIN or FLANNEL in water and wrap around face and neck - take a moment to enjoy. Mix a small amount of CLEANSING LOTION or CLEANSING WASH with warm water in the palms of your hands and gently clean your face and neck. Rinse. To close pores end by splahing face with cold water. Skin should not feel tight or dry but clean, polished and glowing.

Protect Your Skin
The sensitive skin on the face and neck and the vulnerable areas around the eyes and lips require protection on a daily basis. A CREAM MOISTURISER or SERUM and EYE & LIP CARE will protect the skin from the elements and from premature ageing and prevent drying, cracking and lessen fine lines. In the winter use a richer moisturiser and in the Summer use a light moisturiser. In the sun you skin should be protected with natural, non-chemical SUN CARE, applied after your moisturiser.

Natural Hair Care
Change your hair care as well as your skin care! The chemicals and harsh surfactants in conventional shampoo, conditioner and styling aids can cause many skin conditions and not just to the scalp but along the hairline, forehead and neck. If you have any redness, dryness or eczema in these areas this can be reduced by a gentle, botanical-based SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER and natural STYLING AIDS.

Do Not Mix
Natural skin care doesn't mix with conventional skin products. They will work against each other. For instance a natural cleanser may slough off the residue of products heavy in mineral oil but a mineral oil based foundation will put it all back again. No matter how tempting it is to finish off or carry on using the rest of your conventional brand of skin products, to get the best from natural skin care will mean a complete change of look for your dressing table, including your Cosmetics.

Lastly, with love...
Look in the mirror and like what you see. Truly natural skin care does not try to conceal your beauty but feeds it.
